Catalysis of 4-Nitrophenyl Acetate by α-Chymotrypsin

In this multi-week biochemistry lab study, I observed the rate of catalysis of 4-Nitrophenyl acetate using α-chymotrypsin. The rate was measured using the fluorescence of nitrophenolate, one of the products of catalysis. This was measured on a UV-Vis machine. The paper is below.
